[evlatests] Exhaustive Mode Testing, 29 Oct

I ran last night a complex file testing sensitivity of antennas 14
and 16
at all bands, and a wide ranging combination of time averaging, and
bandwidth combinations (over 25 in all, in each of line and continuum)
to see if any combination triggers the phase spin problem.

The sensitivity testing part shows antennas 14 and 16 to be working
very well at *all* bands (except Q-band on antenna 16, as there is no
receiver there). Detailed analysis will have to wait, but a cursory
inspection
shows amplitudes are strong and steady (other than the ubiquitous 10-sec
drops), and phases are steady at all bands. No spinning was seen.

The multitudinous mode tests showed only one combination which
resulted in a clear phase spin -- this was at K-band in spectral line
mode.
I doubt it has anything to do with either. There are others with slow
phase winds -- more careful analysis will have to be done to see if these
are the spin problem, or are plausibly atmospheric in origin.

Overall -- a very good night of data!
