[evla-sw-discuss] Java 7 on EVLA

If the rest of the world is going to java 7, I think Executor
should also.
Executor currently executes from /user/local/java. If we wanted
to stay with java 6, we could simply change the launch script to
use /user/local/java/jdk1.6.0_31.
Once sysadmins decide what java 7, making a java7 symlink would
simplify managing the switch for Executor, independently of the
change for general usage.
Note that there are two parts to the change - the JVM, which
matters for Executor, and the java compiler, which probably
doesn't. I'm inclined to let the chips fall where they may for
the latter. We would have time to notice between the general
changeover and our next update if it actually does matter.
