[evla-sw-discuss] Possible network outage to VLA

I just received a phone call with a 2nd hand report that WNMT
is on their way to Socorro to fix a fiber in the interchange
building between them and NMT.

I don't know whether we'll lose link to the VLA,  and if we do
when it will be or for how long.  Conveniently today's a
maintenance day but that doesn't mean we're happy with random
disconnects.

I'm trying to get more information,  if today is a bad day
(it is a maintenance day) let me know and I'll try and force
them to reschedule.
