[evla-sw-discuss] Fwd: vla fan issue

Turns out WNM needs about 15 minutes to replace that fan.  They
originally thought it was hot swappable but it turns out they need
to swap out a controller card to properly recognize the fan (or
some such, it seemed a bit hand wavy to me).

Anyway,  any objections to a 15 minute outage tomorrow at say noon.
I know it's short notice, the alternative is do it outside a
maintenance window (not wednesday due to joint Chandra observation)
or wait till next week.

We need to try and schedule some maintance dow time to resovle the fan
issue at vla. It would possibly be about fifteen minute period. Let me
