To be sure that everyone knows, Jan 3 will be a very busy day
at the VLA.  Bob Broilo expects to remove power from the arms
one at a time, with a longer outage for the West arm than the
others.  The LO group plans to work that may interrupt timing
signals to the array and the correlator.

I mention this so that all will know that we may not be able
to carefully verify correct behavior until all these activities
have finished.
