Hi Folks,

        I wanted to remind everyone about the upcoming Distributed Objects
and Applications conference at UCI, October 28 - 30, 2002.  This
conference has a strong focus on topics pertaining to CORBA and
middleware.  There will be talks by DOC group members on 

. Asynchronous Method Handling (AMH) in TAO

. Real-time Java (jRate and RTJPerf)

. Real-time CORBA and Real-time Java (ZEN)

. Model Driven Architectures for distributed real-time & embedded systems
