I think that for the MIB proper we should count on loading systems 
*almost* always by internet, and that we should go for minimal connectors, 
and accept whatever inconvenience that implies for program load if we
get the flash screwed up, or indeed for the fancy debugging.

To boot from another device, whether JTAG, emulator, or serial line
seems to imply changing the bootconfig pin settings.  So we've got to
have a switch or jumper on the board, already.  Grumble.
