[evla-sw-discuss] Simulation environment

Just a short note to inform all concerned that
we have received two copies of Nucleus MNT
and the MNT Binary Bundle, along with two copies
of MS Visual C++ 6.0.

Nucleus MNT and the MNT Binary Bundle are versions
of the Nucleus PLUS rtos and _all_ other Nucleus
products (even those we will not be purchasing)
that have been modified to run under Windows NT 4.0.
Taken together they constitute a full simulation
environment that uses MS Visual C++ as the toolset
to permit development of software written to
the Nucleus products in the absence of the target
hardware.

Also included with these software tools are reference
manuals for the Nucleus PLUS rtos, a manual on Nucleus
PLUS internals, and a reference manual on Nucleus
MNT.  The reference manuals may be useful even for
those who are not using the simulation environment.
