I too am in favor of a single RTOS if possible.

One disadvantage of multiple RTOS's is the often overlooked
development environments.  We might need different development 
systems, possibly different source version management setups,
different makefile systems, etc. etc., little things like that.

We would not be readily able to share code between systems 
because sometimes the same things are done in different ways 
by different OS's.  

While these are certainly not insurmountable disadvantages, it
would be nice to avoid them.
