Not the next ADASS is in Perth in the first week of November.

Personally I would prefer a week between ADASS and DIFX meeting, but if anyone wanted to go to both having them back to back would obviously be of benefit.

We might also be able to host in Perth (Swinburne or Sydney are other options)

This also means we need to decide on the DIFX date/location soon for those wanting to coordinate trips.

Hi all,

Sparked by some conversations about ongoing DiFX activities, I wanted to poll the community regarding interest in a DiFX users and developers workshop later in 2026. Based on various logistical constraints, I've come up with a proposal of mid-November somewhere in Australia (CSIRO or Swinburne). I don't think it is feasible to hold any meeting much sooner than November, and I hope that Australia would be a feasible destination for most prospective attendees in the current travel environment, but there is an option to suggest alternatives in that form.
