[Difx-users] Problem in activating the CALC server

Do you have access to the difx wiki?


This list of required packages for different distribution versions should be updated appropriately. It wold be good if you could do this.

Thanks for your comments.
After "apt-get install nfs-kernel-server rpcbind nfs-common" (these packages are used to replace the old portmap in Unbuntu 16.04), the problem is solved.

To whom will concern my problem,

Sorry to ask a stupid problem in installation of DiFX.
After installing the DiFX, I tried to activate the CALC Sever.
However, I receive an error message like:
-------------------
>> sudo /usr/local/DiFX-2.4/bin/startCalcServer
terminate CALCServer that is currently running on GLTCU
reset environment variables for CALCServer
/tmp /usr/local/src/DiFX-2.4
starting new CalcServer on GLTCU
checking that the CalcServer responds
cannot register service: RPC: Unable to receive; errno = Connection refused

GLTCU: RPC: Remote system error -Connection refused
ERROR: roc clnt_create fails for host : GLTCU

Can anyone give me some suggestion to fix this problem?
