[daip] Issue with AIPS_ROOT is not a directory for 31DEC23 {External} {External}

Hi Eric,

Thank you for your reply.

I checked the $AIPS_ROOT/START_AIPS and found out that the AIPS_ROOT path
was wrong. Correcting it solved my problem.

Also giving the path to point towards the correct compiled modules for
emacs through LD_LIBRARY_PATH solved the issue regarding emacs.

Now I can open both aips and emacs in the same terminal without any issue.
