For a brief period I put some libraries in the LNX64 release that
were a bad mistake. libc.so.6 is one of those. Log out and
back in to get rid of the AIPS issues. Then go to
$AIPS_ROOT/31DEC22/LNX64/LIBR/INTELCMP. Do an ll to see
what is there. What should be there is only
-rw-r--r-- 1 aipssrc aipspgmr 720559 Dec 2 2021 libgcc_s.so.1
-rwxr-xr-x 1 aipssrc aipspgmr 5749773 Dec 2 2021 libgfortran.so.3*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 aipssrc aipspgmr 2870661 Dec 2 2021 libimf.so*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 aipssrc aipspgmr 478809 Dec 2 2021 libintlc.so.5*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 aipssrc aipspgmr 142224 Dec 2 2021 libncurses.so.5*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 aipssrc aipspgmr 947653 Dec 2 2021 libquadmath.so.0*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 aipssrc aipspgmr 285136 Jun 1 16:07 libreadline.so.6*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 aipssrc aipspgmr 23734672 Dec 2 2021 libsvml.so*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 aipssrc aipspgmr 681716 Dec 2 2021 libsvml.so.old*

and the .old thing probably should not be there but seems to cause
no harm. Delete any files in your version that are not in this
list. Then life should get better I hope.

Sorry about this - you must have run a MNJ or install at just the
wrong moment (libc stayed in this area for less than a week).
