[daip] [31DEC20] AIPS installation in macOS 10.15 Catalina.

Hi, 
I’m Jeein Kim, current grad student in Yonsei university in Seoul, Korea.
I’m trying to install AIPS in my new iMac, version 10.15 (Catalina).

My install wizard stopped and told me:

	AipsWiz: If you are running on a modern version of the Mac OS X 
	(10.11 - 10.15 or later), you need to do one more thing
	NOW to correct for the loss of LIBRARY_PATH functionality.
	In a 2nd window, start bash, source /LOGIN.SH
	Then ./fix_aips_macos.sh 
	Do not run as root or under sudo and note the dot
	you will be prompted for your password once.


so I tried to do same as I were told in the 2nd window.

For few days of trying, I get this following same error again and again.

	jeeinkim at Jeeins-iMac ~ % source ./LOGIN.SH 
	HOSTS: Cannot find HOSTS.LIST in /Users/jeeinkim
	HOSTS: Cannot proceed.  Help!



In my AIPS root, there are

And there’s no HOSTS.LIST

I tried same action in the xterm (XQuartz) terminal, but I got same issues.

I also tried to look inside the fix_aips_macos.sh script and login.sh script, but can’t figure out what’s wrong and how to fix it.
Please help me installing AIPS..

And I had these two minor issues before, if you have to know.

	Error: FAILED to create directory /DATA/LOCALHOST_1
	AipsWiz: Error: You will need to create it yourself later, and
	AipsWiz: Error: create an empty SPACE file therein, both with
	AipsWiz: Error: the right protections.

	chgrp: MAKE.BMNJ: No such file or directory
	AipsWiz: About to run 'MAKE.BMNJ '...
	AipsWiz: This will generate a fair bit of output.
	sh: /LOGIN.SH: No such file or directory
	AipsWiz: Not good; no /31DEC20/MACINT/SYSTEM/LOCALHOST/UPDCONFIG found; did MAKE.BMNJ fail?
	AipsWiz: You should investigate this.
