AIPS views CALCODEs as a property of the source not thescan.  Therefore you cannot have one CALCODE on a sourcefor some scans and a different CALCODE for the same sourcefor other scans.  The JVLA allows this for some reason but Ifail to understand why all scans of a source should not be usedfor phase calibration when some are so used.  The same appliesto the bandpass usage.  Either a source is a good phase calibrator or it is not, it is either a good bandpass calibrator or it is not.Note that BPASS and CALIB allow you to specify time rangesshould you really insist on separating your data in this way.Eric Greisen
