In AIPS the Calcode is a 4-characteer string stored in the SU (source) table in column 4.The simplest way to change it is to run PRTAB with INEXT='SU' to see which row thesource occurs in.Then PIXXY = row, 4, 1KEYSTRNG = 'xxxx'INP TABPUTTABPUTwhere xxxx is the string you would like to use.  I do not know why Z appears - a foibleof BDFIn in OBIT I guess.  Then you can use the CALCODE adverb of AIPS to identifywhich calibrator if yu are writing scripts.  If you run tasks like BPASS and CALIB by handyou simply identify the calibration sources by name in CALSOUR.Note SETJY can also be used to change the CALCODE but TABPUT is simpler andmore direct.Does this help?Eric Greisen
