I loaded your idifits file on mt Linux box andran USUBA in both the optimized and un-optimized LNX64 versions of USUBA andalso the LINUX (32-bit) optimized version.All of them worked quickly and produceda file with 2 subarrays and 287 scans.  I donot therefore know what is going wrong withyour Linux version.  I am assuming that youare using a binary version of AIPS atyour home institution.  If not, are you compilingit at your home institution or using it on oneof NRAO's computers?  To try getting a newcopy of the binary version, move the currentUSUBA.EXE to some temporary name andrun the MNJ.Eric Greisen
