Hi Eric,thank you very much for all the tests. I confirm that the FITS is an idi file. Thanks to your notes I found what's the problem: when running fitld, I had specified BIF=0, EIF=1. This is why it loaded 2 IFs. Now I've run it saying BIF=1, EIF=1, and indeed it only loaded 1 IF! Silly mistake, apologies!! Best, Mar
