Hi Eileen,Just FYI, if you do a imh (imhead) and it will show you the header of the UV file, in the top area on the right it will say what sort of sort order the file has.  I am slightly worried about the data you loaded however.  For old VLBA data there was usually many different files that need to be concatenated, but frequently there were files that you should not concatenate with the rest.  I looked at BW003 in the archive and it looks like this is the case here, looks like multiple correlations of the same correlator job, so if you just downloaded all the files and concatenated them then this might be the origin of your sort order problem and running UVSRT (probably) won't fix it.  I am going to assign this question the the VLBA data analysts and see if they can figure out what happened 24 years ago.If the concatenating the wrong files isn't the problem the easiest way to fix a sorting problem after loading the data is to run the VLBAFIX procedure after you load the data.  It will look at several things about the file and try to fix whatever is wrong, one of the things it checks is sort order.  I think it will also run INDXR if it is needed.  VLBAFIX can be run every time because it won't do anything if nothing is needed.
