The 31DEC17 LNX64 version has now been compiled with gcc/gfortran ratherthan the old or new Intel compiler.  I do not know how OBIT talks to AIPS ifit actually does.  My memory says that it invokes the AIPS tasks directlyrather than sending input to the AIPS.EXE program that you use whenrunning AIPS directly.  Therefore I really have no idea where the -999comes from unless Bill copied some AIPS coding to set that up.Eric
