Hello,
I am having a weird issue with the IMAGR task, with an AIPS 31DEC17 installation on Ubuntu 17.04.
When launching it in interactive mode (DOTV=1), I get the following message on shell:
ZMSFI2: REQUEST FOR BYTES 1 THRU = 0
ZMSFI2: BEYOND EOF = 0
ZMSGDK: OPER = READ LUN = 12 NREC = 1
ZMSGER: SYSTEM I/O ERROR CODE = -1

The same dataset perfectly works on another 31DEC17 installation I have on my Mac, with the same (very basic) input parameters. Since switching off the interactive mode (DOTV=-1) it works, I guess should be something related with the graphical settings. I have already checked that the X-window settings and colors are the ones suggested in the installation manual, and have previous experience with the installation of AIPS on different machines (Ubuntu and Mac). Could it have something to do with this latest Ubuntu version?
Thanks, cheers
Gabriele
