Hi Amy,

I'm also getting that the amplitudes vary smoothly in SNPLT after running VLBAAMP. It's after continuing the reduction through CLCAL that I see the jumps in amplitude. I attached a file that shows my code inputs. They're practically identical to the inputs from the 15th summer school tutorial so I'm not sure what's going on. 3C454.3 and 0234+285 are my two calibrators and all of my sources are strong and well detected, which is why I chose to run the global fring fit using all sources.

What I'm doing is copying and pasting this code into the terminal. At the end of the code, I look at the amplitudes with editr / snplt and see the jumps in amplitude. I still get the jumps when I omit applying the geodetic corrections and the final smoothing so it seems like it's not those things. Do you see any errors I'm missing?

Alex
