If I understand correctly, this would work, but it creates a bookkeeping headache, since the spectral channels corresponding to a given velocity are no longer the same as in the original cube.

Instead I could break things up into 3 cubes, and blank the entire middle piece before gluing them back together. But how to do that? OPCODE='FIXW' in BLANK doesn't actually blank anything (it just makes a subimage of the specified part of the cube). Is that a bug, or am I setting the inputs incorrectly?
