REWAY only changes weights.  It does nothing to the amplitude scale.

IMEAN's rms values are good so if they are higher then the image is worse
perhaps because something has happened to the amplitude scale to make
everything (signal and noise) larger.  But REWAY cannot by itself do that.
You should check the weights out of REWAY with e.g. UVPLT or ANBPL.  It 
can sometimes get odd results depending on what it stumbles across in the
data and the interaction between the windows, smoothing etc parameters
and your data scan structure.
