I do not understand your response.
I am telling you to CTRL-C in install.pl after these two failures and
then do
perl install.pl -n
rsync has clearly failed multiply to copy aips files. You are probably missing all sorts of stuff
if you are missing these files.
I guess another way in which things could go wrong is if the $SITE identification has changed.
Check /Users/poonam/Work/Softwares/AIPS file HOSTS.LIST. Is the site next to your computer name
PCLAPTOP - that is the $SITE being used by the install. From this $AIPS_ROOT go look
at the contents of 31DEC17MACINT/SYSTEM and from there to directory PCLAPTOP. If you send me the
ls -l for those areas I might be able to guess what is going on.
I have not known rsync to fail to copy things and yet to claim to have run fully. It does die
when connections have issues but I have never known it to fail and lie about it. That is why
I am grasping at straws here.
