AIPS (not CASA) memo 117 defines what AIPS does.  Memo 114
re-defines the FITS IDI format.  There is a reader in CASA that
purports to read true FITS IDI but I know very little about it.  You
would have to ask the CASA group about that.

I will move this ticket to them.
