Dear Eric Greisen,
I am currently calibrating a data set with two subarrays.
When I tried to run AIPS ANTAB with subarray=1 or 2 to make TY and GC tables, the task returned an error message like below:
VLB100> ANTAB1: Task ANTAB (release of 31DEC15) begins
VLB100> ANTAB1: I CANNOT DO MULTIPLE SUBARRAY DATA
VLB100> ANTAB1: USE ANTAB BEFORE USUBA OR DBCON!!!
VLB100> ANTAB1: Purports to die of UNNATURAL causes
VLB100> ANTAB1: vlb100 31DEC15 TST: Cpu= 0.0 Real= 0
Other people in my group also reported the same errors for other data sets with multiple subarrays.
A tricky solution for this problem was to split the data with UVCOP for subarray 1 and 2, run ANTAB for each of them, and then do DBCON the files or only TACOP corresponding TY and GC tables to the original file.
But is there any simpler way to just load the ANTAB files directly to the original file?
Or could this problem be solved in next AIPS update?
Thank you for your help in advance and best regards,
Jae-Young Kim
