I noticed the following issue with TVFLG (and a similar thing with SPFLG yesterday, which I thought initially
was my error).

Initially, with IN2DISK=0 and DOCAT=-1, I got the following messages:
alcor.> TVFLG1: Task TVFLG  (release of 31DEC15) begins
alcor.> TVFLG1: Begin finding a list of times to enter the grid
alcor.> TVFLG1: UVGET: Using flag table version  13 to edit data
alcor.> TVFLG1: Found   260 time intervals to grid, so
alcor.> TVFLG1: begin gridding the data to a temporary TVFLGR file
alcor.> TVFLG1: ZCREAT ERROR     1 FOR DELTA CEP X .TVFLGR.   1
alcor.> TVFLG1: GRIDTV: UNABLE TO CREATE OUTPUT IMAGE FILE - ERROR    5
alcor.> TVFLG1: Basic UV image is  434   265 pixels in X,Y (B,T)
alcor.> TVFLG1: ZOPEN: VOLUME NUMBER =      0 OUT OF RANGE
alcor.> TVFLG1: ERROR     3 OPENING MASTER GRID FILE TO READ TIMES
alcor.> TVFLG1: No flagging commands were prepared
alcor.> TVFLG1: Purports to die of UNNATURAL causes

I tried setting IN2DISK=1, in which case the message was:

alcor.> TVFLG1: ZCREAT: FILE DA01:MAD006001.1LY; ALREADY EXISTS
alcor.> TVFLG1: ZCREAT ERROR     1 FOR DELTA CEP X .TVFLGR.   1
alcor.> TVFLG1: GRIDTV: UNABLE TO CREATE OUTPUT IMAGE FILE - ERROR    5
alcor.> TVFLG1: Basic UV image is  434   265 pixels in X,Y (B,T)
alcor.> TVFLG1: TABINI: Deleting old FC table version   1
alcor.> TVFLG1: ZOPEN: FILE DA01:CBD006001.1LY;      NOT FOUND
alcor.> TVFLG1: TABINI: ERROR  1 CATALOGING FILE FC NO   1
alcor.> TVFLG1: ERROR    4 OPENING Flag-Command TABLE VERSION   1
alcor.> TVFLG1: ZCLOSE: DOES NOT PERFORM TV CLOSES AS OF 15OCT87

Finally, I set IN2DISK=3, and it was happy:

alcor.> TVFLG1: Begin finding a list of times to enter the grid
alcor.> TVFLG1: UVGET: Using flag table version  13 to edit data
alcor.> TVFLG1: Found   260 time intervals to grid, so
alcor.> TVFLG1: begin gridding the data to a temporary TVFLGR file
alcor.> TVFLG1: Create DELTA CEP X .TVFLGR.   1 (MA)  on disk  3  cno    1
alcor.> TVFLG1: GRIDTV: gridding channels     1 to   128  IFs  1 to 32
alcor.> TVFLG1: Included     5659264. points in the grid
...
