The data set used to say XYZHAND = '?????'

AIPS now sees that it is LOFAR and expects Bx,  By, and  Bz all to be positive
(except for UK stations).   It finds By negative and changes all By signs to
force the AN file to be right handed.  This has been the norm in astronomy for
quite some time (Mark 2 VLBI was the last left-handed one).  AIPS software
had issues keeping the handedness straight so it was decided to force things.
