Hi Eric,

I’m attaching an Excel file with some tests of the issue where AIPS reports spurious sources (running in my SRCS proc), for your possible interest and maybe comments.  

I’ve compared two runs, one where SAD identified and reports a source, and a run where it seems to identify it but rejects it.   The data are the same, although in the case of the spurious report it is a channel inside a cube, and in the case where the source is rejected the channel image has been copied to a separate file using SUBIM.  

Any light you can shed on this would be appreciated!
