Starting AIPS

I am unable to open AIPS on the lustre directory. After typing "aips tv =local", it asks for user-ID. Then whichever number I try, there is a list errors. The error says permission denied. Do I have to define or set anything before starting AIPS?  I am using NRAO computer.  The CPU has a tag named LTSP51.
