I am reminded that others at UNM have encountered issues
with the MNJ.  I suspect that it is your network although
how you managed to install aips (the binary version uses
rsync to load everything in the installation) I do not know.
Perhaps Ylva would have suggestions - she has had to deal
with this problem.
