Hi Amy:
Yes, I used to do this all the time (go back and forth between averaging so you could see the whole run and zooming in to seeing every integration time using "ENTER SMOOTH TIME"). I did try TVFLG (31DEC15) on an old data set, where I almost certainly had tried various "ENTER SMOOTH TIME" (probably with 31DEC12) as above and did not note any problems: 31DEC15 and 31DEC14 TVFLG crashed the same way. It doesn't seem to be an issue with the quantity of data, I get same problem when I load only one hour of data.
As you say, I cannot use the 31DEC14 TVFLG on my recent data, but 31DEC14 crashes the same way on an old data
set.
As long as you don't try and increase the smooth time again TVFLG seems to work - with the new "LOAD NEXT PIECE" its less necessary to zoom back out by increasing the "ENTER SMOOTH TIME" again so its not a show-stopper, although it probably indicates some problem with the code. I think it may crash as soon as you set an smooth
time that allows the whole data set to fit on the screen, ie. does *not* require the "next piece" stuff....
