I suspect that the 10 Mbytes in your sysctl.conf may not be enough
for a new high-res screen.  But first you need to get there.  The
fatal error message is the permission denied when it tries to
execute 
/Users/bemmel/Software/AIPS/31DEC14/MACINT/LOAD/XAS1
so go to the LOAD area and check permissions on the file relative
to your login/group, etc.
