Yes - going to a local compile involves correcting/changing a bunch of
things and we have found versions of gfortran that will not compile or
perhaps it is link AIPS at all. Perfectly acceptable things (if
dangerous in amateur hands) are suddenly viewed as errors by some
versions of gfortran. We can usually talk managers into rsync at least
to one known IP address run on another known address.
I am glad it is now working.
