In principle, the weight is 1/sigma^2 where sigma is found from
the variation of spectral channel data across a continuum (or 0 
signal) spectrum.  You may have enough channels to do this
or perhaps with a larger time reach.  Task REWAY is based on
this and task UVHGM may also be helpful.
