Hi Eric,

We ended up using CASA to shift each dataset into the same reference channel and reference frame.  AIPS merrily images the  result without issue.

The bigger problem remains the relative weights between GMRT and VLA data.  Is there a recommended sequence for this?  It proved to be quite the struggle.
