I do not see what is strange in the header you sent.

The other error you show suggests that the ASDMFILE
name is in some way not correct.  Did you try BDFLIST
with these adverbs.  I find that always useful to check
the ASDMFILE name and to see what is in the data set
before using BDF2AIPS.
