1. ISPEC expects data with the 3rd axis as frequency.  Run TRANS
   on the output of IMLIN with transc = '231' and then ISPEC.

2. Are you using dirty images with no Cleaning?  Usually some Cleaning
in IMAGR is a good idea.  See 
"Aperture Synthesis Observations of the Nearby Spiral NGC 6503:
      Modeling the Thin and Thick Disks", 2009, AJ, 137, 4718-4733
      (with Spekkens, K. and van Moorsel, G. A.)
especially the appendix.

3. Task CONVL will convolve a spectral-line cube, convolving every
plane separately.  The primary beam correction may be done later
since I assume that the convolving Gaussian will be small wrt the
primary beam.
