Hi, we have calibrated UV data observed with the EVLA using CASA. After calibration we have exported from CASA the K continuum data of 8GHz bandwidth to UVFITS using the task exportuvfits. The observations were K Band 1.3 cm (18000-26500 MHz; Rest frequencies 19, 21, 23, 25 GHz).

Now we are trying to read these data within AIPS using FITLD or UVLD but getting the following error:

UVLOD1: Task UVLOD (release of 31DEC14) begins
localh> UVLOD1: Found MULTI observed on 15-MAR-2014
localh> UVLOD1: Create MULTI .UVDATA. 1 (UV) on disk 1 cno 15
localh> UVLOD1: TAPIO: RECORD LENGTH 320 INCONSISTENT WITH BLOCK SIZE 2880
localh> UVLOD1: UVFDAT: ERROR READING TAPE. IERR= 10
localh> UVLOD1: Destroyed 1 extension files of type HI
localh> UVLOD1: Destroyed UV image file: catno= 15 disk= 1
localh> UVLOD1: Purports to die of UNNATURAL causes
localh> UVLOD1: localhos 31DEC14 TST: Cpu= 45.1 Real= 613 IO=

The same error appears with FITLD.

Perhaps is not possible to manage within AIPS that kind of data with 8GHz bandwidth?

Thank you in advance,

Jose
