The task just constructs averages that are <= SOLINT long.  Then it takes that list
and does the variance assuming that they are a sequence.  In other words, long
gaps are ignored and treated as small gaps - this could lead to an Allan value at
that point that is large, but what is displayed is the statistics of all such values and 
so the odd "bad" value should not matter much.  The task was written to find the
better 4-band feed placement analyzing long single scans.  If it has use outside
this, it may well need improvement.

4. DOCRT = -2 will omit the blank line and DOCRT=-3 will omit all header lines.
