New Ticket: incorrect Observed RA, Dec in header
Hello,
I have been reducing P-band data from Nov 2012 and Jan 2013. When I use SPLIT to split off individual sources, the headers have the wrong "Observed RA and Dec" coordinates. They should be the same as those on the RA and Dec rows. See below.
I tried 31DEC12 and 31DEC13 versions of AIPS. As a test, I downloaded one of the files from the archive and used BDF2AIPS to re-import the BDF files, and then applied SPLIT without any other data reduction. The problem still occurs. When I was at the AOC in January, this problem did not occur. Looking at the history files, I see that the version of BDFIn used then was "BDFIn svn ver. 438M" while the history file indicates "ver. 444" now. Could that be relevant?
I haven't noticed any other problem, and I can easily use PUTHEAD to correct the Observed positions. But I'm wondering if this is something I should be concerned about.
Thanks,
Scott Hyman
