Thanks - this was enough to run the task past the failure point 
(although the UV data are required to run the whole thing which I did 
not know).

A COMMON in this task was named the same as a subroutine it had to call 
- so the COMMON was called rather than the subroutine and ABORT!  A MNJ 
on 31DEC12 right now will update that version.  A MNJ tomorrow on 
31DEC13 will fix that version.
