I have come up with a better trick for the CL table handling.
If the source number is zero in the CL table record it is taken
to apply to any source.  So zero the target source number in the
first data set's CL table and then copy that to the other data
sets.  Should work...

BTW - Walter Brisken also has no idea why the sources were numbered
as they were in your aberrant case.
