[daip] Issue with new accounts : write permissions ?

This is not an error and should not have slowed down any access to AIPS. 
  It means that no one has logged into user number 1 (the default before 
you enter a user number).  To get rid of the message, when it prompts 
for a user number, enter

1

and a password

AMANAGER

then restart and enter your actual user number.
