The adverb DPARM(2) tells PRTUV the maximum weight to expect.  After 
calibration your weights may be rather larger than 9.9.  The weight is 1 
over uncertainty squared.  Thus if your uncertainty is 0.1 Jy the weight 
is already 100.  Try setting DPARM(2)=1000 to see if it then shows 
reasonable weights.
