[daip] GMRT data and frequency table errors

Dear Eric, et al.,


	we are running into the problem that we can not split/splat  or work with our GMRT data anymore.
I suspect that the changes of the FG table related sub-routines are causing this trouble. 

I don't know how I can bootstrap this problem and any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
