I think that there are bad probably unprintable characters in the file 
$SYSLOCAL/CCOPTS.SH and you need to use emacs (say) to look at that file 
and try to find them.  It could be in the OPT0 line, the COMP= line or
perhaps elsewhere but those two are the most likely.  You can debug with 
a command-line instruction such as
COMRPL $APLGEN/ZABORS
