New Staff Reply: "Buttons A/B/C/D" not functioning Linux AIPS TV

Curious - XAS uses only very basic X Windows things
and traps the keyboard interrupt for characters A B C D
and a b c d.  It also uses F3 F4 F5 and F6 as A B C D resp.
If this keyboard is not generating these interrupts then
I don't know how to signal an XWindows program.

If you can signal with F8 or F9 then you can turn on debugging
things.  F9 in particular will identify all interrupts seen
by the program.  Note that the cursor must be in the TV window
and focus must be there for any of this to work.
