The smoothing routine in CLCAL that you used to get rid of failed 
solutions updated the weights to 1 but did nothing for the REFANTs which 
were 0.  When SN2CL came along, it did not like mismatched reference 
antennas (reasonably) and so did not interpolate.  I have fixed the 
smoothing routine to fix the reference antenna if it finds <= 0 at a 
place where it now has a real solution.
